Food Recycler Buyout Supplemental Terms and Conditions

Mill may, in its sole discretion, provide eligible monthly or annual food recycler rental subscribers the option to purchase their food recycler (a “Buyout”). Any such Buyout offer is subject to our Terms of Service and the additional terms set forth below.

Subject to the terms herein, rental subscribers with no outstanding, unpaid fees may purchase their food recycler at any time during their subscription term at the applicable priceset forth in the price schedule set forth below (the “Buyout Price”). Unless we specify otherwise when we offer you the Buyout, the Buyout Price applicable to you is based on the date your food recycler was originally delivered to you, provided that if you receive a replacement food recycler that is new, the Buyout Price will be determined based on the delivery date of your replacement food recycler(the “DeliveryDate”).

18 – 24 months (540 days - 719 days) - $375

24+ months (720+ days) $250

* Buyout date is the date you complete the buyout payment.

If you are eligible and elect to purchase your food recycler pursuant this Buyout offer, the following additional terms apply:

  1. Redeeming the Buyout Offer. If you are eligible for a Buyout and want to purchase your food recycler, email us at support@mill.com and follow the instructions we provide, including payment instructions, to complete the Buyout. Our support team will confirm the Buyout Price applicable to your food recycler. If you Buyout your food recycler, any existing Mill subscriptions you have, including your food recycler rental subscription, will automatically be cancelled at the end of your current subscription term. The Buyout Price schedule listed on our website is subject to change at any time and for any reason at our sole discretion.
  2. No Refunds or Returns.All sales are final. If you exercise a Buyout option, title to the food recycler and its accessories will transfer to you immediately upon the end of your current rental subscription term.
  3. Charcoal Filter Refills Not Included.You will continue to be able to order free charcoal filter replacements (subject to our Terms of Service) through the end of your current rental subscription term, but you will not be eligible for free charcoal filter replacements after that date. You can purchase replacement filters separately by emailing us at support@mill.com.
  4. Pickups Must Be Purchased and Scheduled Separately After Subscription Ends. If you have a Pickups Service subscription, it will automatically be cancelled at the end of your current rental subscription term. You will continue to be able to schedule free pickups (subject to our Terms of Service) until the end of your current rental subscription term, but any pickups after that date will need to be purchased and scheduled separately. To purchase a new Pickups Service subscription, email us at support@mill.com.
  5. Limited Warranty Coverage Will End. The limited warranty coverage for your food recycler applicable under your rental subscription will expire on the date that is the later of the end of your current rental subscription term or one (1) year from when the food recycler you are buying out was delivered.The Buyout purchase of your food recycler is “as is”and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. 
  6. Warranty Replacement Post-Buyout. If you receive a replacement food recycler pursuant to the limited warranty under your rental subscription after you complete a Buyout purchase but before the end of your current rental subscription term, we may, at our sole discretion, ask you to pay the difference between the Buyout Price you paid and the Buyout Price you would have paid for the replacement food recycler, or cancel your Buyout purchase and refund you any amounts paid for the Buyout; if your Buyout purchase is cancelled, your rental subscription will not be cancelled and will automatically renew, and you will continue to be charged, until you cancel.
  7. Additional Terms. We may, in our sole discretion and at any time, modify or suspend these Buyout terms, the Buyout program, or your eligibility to purchase your food recycler as part of any Buyout offer.In our discretion and for any or no reason, we may refuse a request to allow you to Buyout your food recycler, or to cancel a Buyout purchase and refund you any amounts already paid for the Buyout.
